Gemma Murphy

Gemma joined Gibson & Brennan in 2025, although she was certainly no stranger to Jake, Mickey and Dan, having known and worked alongside them at different points throughout their estate agency careers.

With around 15 years of industry experience, including many years as a top-performing negotiator at a large corporate agent, Gemma brings a huge amount of knowledge and experience to her role as our dedicated Sales Progressor.

Once a sale is agreed, Gemma takes over and becomes the person our clients can rely on to help get their move from Sold Subject to Contract to moving day.

Anyone who has bought or sold a home will know that this part of the process isn't always straightforward. Chains, solicitors, surveys, mortgages and unexpected problems can all get in the way – and this is where Gemma really comes into her own.

Extremely dedicated and hardworking, she makes it her business to know exactly what is happening at every stage of every sale. She builds relationships with everyone involved in the chain, keeps things moving wherever possible and, just as importantly, makes sure our clients are never left wondering what's going on.

Gemma has a brilliant ability to combine empathy and compassion with the determination needed to get things done. She understands that behind every transaction are real people making a huge life decision, but she's also not afraid to pick up the phone, chase for answers and keep pushing when something needs to happen.

It's this combination that makes Gemma so popular with our clients – and such an important part of the Gibson & Brennan team.

Outside of work, Gemma is married with two children and loves spending time with her family. When she does get some time to herself, you'll often find her at Pilates, although we're not sure chasing solicitors all day is quite as relaxing!
