About Mickey Brennan
Mickey began his estate agency career in 2009 as an Office Junior at a large independent estate agency, working his way through the ranks to become an Area Partner before co-founding Gibson & Brennan with Jake in 2022.
Having lived and worked in Basildon his entire life, Mickey’s knowledge of the local property market is difficult to beat. But for Mickey, estate agency has never just been about houses and prices – it’s about people.
He genuinely enjoys getting to know his clients, understanding their circumstances and learning what makes their home special. That allows him to give honest, straightforward advice and put together the right strategy for their move, rather than simply telling people what they want to hear.
As Gibson & Brennan has continued to grow, Mickey has also taken the lead on the lettings side of the business, helping to develop our service for landlords and tenants while bringing the same personal, straightforward approach that has always been at the heart of our sales business.
Whether he’s advising a homeowner on the best way to sell, helping a landlord with their investment or simply talking property, Mickey is passionate about giving people advice they can genuinely trust.
Alongside Jake, he has helped build Gibson & Brennan around a simple idea: provide the level of service they would want to receive themselves – personal, professional, honest and refreshingly approachable.
Outside of the office, Mickey is very much a family man and loves spending time with children, and if he's not with them you'll probably find him at David Lloyds!.
